Explicit Consent Declaration for Job Applicants

Last updated: September 2026

This consent declaration supplements our Privacy Notice for Job Candidates. It concerns only the voluntary retention of your application documents beyond the specific recruitment procedure (talent pool). No consent is required for the recruitment procedure itself; without this consent we delete your data six months after the procedure has been concluded.

1. Declaration of consent (talent pool)

"I consent to Engivolt retaining my application documents and the personal data contained in them beyond the specific recruitment procedure for a period of up to 24 months, in order to consider me for future vacancies and to contact me for this purpose. Where my application documents contain special categories of personal data that I have provided of my own accord, my consent expressly covers their retention as well.

The legal basis for this processing is my consent under Art. 6(1)(a) and, for special categories of personal data, Art. 9(2)(a) of the UK GDPR or the EU GDPR, whichever applies."

2. How to give your consent

If you wish to join our talent pool, please confirm the declaration above in writing, for example by email to info@engivolt.net or when we ask you during the recruitment procedure.

3. Voluntary nature

Giving this consent is voluntary. If you do not give it, you will suffer no disadvantage in the ongoing recruitment procedure; your application will be considered in the same way.

4. Withdrawal (Art. 7(3) GDPR)

You may withdraw your consent at any time, without giving reasons and with effect for the future. An informal email to info@engivolt.net is sufficient. If you withdraw it, we will delete the data stored in the talent pool without undue delay, unless statutory retention obligations require otherwise. The lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal is not affected.

5. Further information

Information on recipients, transfers outside the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area, your rights and your right to complain to a supervisory authority can be found in our Privacy Notice for Job Candidates and in our Privacy Policy.
